You will be responsible for any damages that may be incurred if the container is moved. Please contact our office if you need the dumpster relocated to a new location on your property, nominal trip charge may apply..

Q.How long can I keep the dumpster?

A.Dumpster rentals vary by size, use and the contract term. Some are as little as 1-3 Days, 1-7 Days, 1-10 Days, 1-14 Days or 1-30 days including the day of drop off. Let us know if you need extra time; we can make arrangements for additional days or weeks. There may be an additional fee for each day over the term stated in your rental contract.

Q.What forms of payment do you accept?

A.We accept all major credit cards, as well as debit cards associated with major banks and credit unions. We can also accept cash and corporate checks for customers with an account, however a valid credit card must always remain on file for any overages.

Q.How soon in advance should I place my order?

A.To ensure delivery when needed, we suggest contacting us as soon as possible, but at least two days in advance. However, most times we can deliver the same or next day. For your convenience, we also offer an online rental booking tool available 24/7.

Q.Can I use a construction dumpster for concrete, dirt, or other heavy materials?

A.Yes! But they are disposed of in different locations and manners. They must not be comingled with any other items, so concrete must be concrete, gravel, brick only. Dirt must be trash and debris free, and metals must be metal only and no trash. Make sure to tell us what kind of materials you will be loading into your dumpster, and we will make sure you are aware.

Weight is another key issue to be aware of, we need to be able to pick the dumpster up when you are finished, if it weighs more than our equipment is rated for it could cause damage to the equipment or dumpster and may result in removing some of the material loaded into the dumpster. Heavy items may be limited to only filling the dumpster to 50% of its available space.
Q.What is tonnage?

A.Common terminology for weight when renting a roll off is tonnage. One ton of weight is equal to 2,000 pounds. When we dispose of debris at the dump we pay on an agreed upon price per ton.

If you are under the specified weight limit on your invoice there is no additional cost. If the weight limit is above the specified limit, we pay this fee and then recoup the cost from the customer. Most of our rental contracts include either 1 or 2 tons in the price of the rental and is determined by the size of the dumpster and listed in your agreement.
Q.Weight limit when renting a dumpster?

A.Each of our dumpster sizes includes a specific amount of weight of refuse in the cost of the rental. Be aware of the weight limit as you are throwing material away. When we take your trash to the local dump the trash truck is weighed in. The driver then dumps all of the trash out at the dump and receives an additional weight ticket when they exit the facility.

The difference between the two weight tickets is the total weight in the container. Weight is key issue to be aware of, we need to be able to pick the dumpster up when you are finished, if it weighs more than our equipment is rated for it could cause damage to the equipment or dumpster and may result in removing some of the material loaded into the dumpster. Any overages in weight are billed to the customer based on your rental agreement.
Q.Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?

A.The best way to avoid a permit is to place the roll off container on your private property. The majority of time the dumpster is placed on the driveway which allows for simple disposal and quicker removal. In some cases, a permit will be required if you plan to place the container on a street or city right-of-way. These permits are issued by the local city’s zoning, planning, and building department. Not sure if you need a permit?

Many cities do not require any special permits, but some may depending on size and location and how long you will need it, contacting your local city hall, building inspector or their website may give you the proper insight you will need. Permits, if required by a local government are the responsibility of the customer to verify and obtain.

Q.Can we use machinery to compact the trash or debris in the dumpster?

A.There are new companies and services that now exist like “Smash My Trash” that use equipment to come and compact the trash that has been put into the dumpster, other companies or individuals will use a skid steer or tractor to accomplish the same result. We understand that everyone wants to maximize the space in their dumpster rental, however we ask that you figure out how to crush or compact items before placing them in the dumpster. Using any form of equipment, machinery, or method to compact items in the dumpster can cause harm to those nearby as well as structural damage to the dumpster itself and could prevent us from picking it up.

In addition, any damage caused using any of these methods will result in a termination of the rental agreement and a minimum fee of $5,000.00 or more for the repair or replacement of the dumpster for the damage caused. This is in addition to any rental and overage fees for weight in the original rental agreement. Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding maximizing the use of your dumpster rental and before considering any of the forementioned methods.
